Episode #2 "The Aberstowe Brethren"

Beset upon the road by a trio of brigands in the borderlands of Sæxyny, the veteran mercenary, Ealdræd of the Pæga, fetches up at the Cloister of Aberstowe, the Abbey of a religious order devoted to arcane wisdom and obscene sacrifice. The dissolute clergy and their peasant concubines appear to present no threat to a man of arms and at first Ealdræd's sudden arrival is afforded a honeyed welcome as the Brethren are in need of one such as he in a most blasphemous undertaking. For unbeknownst to the wandering soldier of fortune he is to test the mettle of what the brothers are convinced is the resurrected spirit of the unholy Bánfæt Wæpenbora, the knight-cadaver, conjured forth from the void where commands Wihvir Lord of Hálsian, to wreak annihilation upon the enemies of the siblings of Aberstowe for the greater glory of their order, or so the faithful of the Brethren believe.
