Episode #4 "Witchery in Wehnbria" Part 2
In the second part of this story Ealdræd takes his place at the mustering of the army and witnesses at first hand the persecution of witches currently underway throughout Wehnbria. Everywhere there is deep mistrust and rampant suspicion. The widespread defeatest pessimism and dissention amongst the troops of the Eorl Atheldun makes the situation at the onset of war appear desperate. And who is the infamous Bhelenese courtesan, said to be the instigator of this witchcraft, the scandalous adventuress, intriguer and spy, mademoiselle Maev de Lederwyrhta? Ealdræd’s visit to the capital city, Amsburgh, may answer that question more immediately than he could possibly have imagined.
