Episode #12 "The Exiled Youth"

Ealdræd returns home to the territory of the Pæga Clan for the first time since his young adulthood over 20 years before and finally we learn the story of the banishment of Ealdræd of the Pæga. To his dismay he discovers that much has changed for the worse amongst his native folk in the intervening decades under Geinnian Gehwelc, the cultural policy to “include everyone”. The Pæga have been robbed of their identity and their dignity. The young men call upon him to tell them the tales of his life of adventure in the outside world which they have never seen. And so he speaks of his younger days, hoping that this may be instructive to a people who have lost their way.
